To make this video, our group went out and filmed some simple clips showcasing various areas of Sunderland College. To do this, one person filmed, one person directed, one person edited and one person was a location scout. We did this so everyone would have played a part in creating the project. In my opinion I found the tasks to be quite easy, once we got going as i did similar things in GCSE Media last year. I didn't gain any significant new skills however i did improve my editing skills slightly. We made the choices we did because they were simple and easy to pull of as beginners and we didn't want to stretch our talents. I am quite happy with the finished project as i feel it turned out well and i worked well with new people.
A script is important as it lets the actors know what to say and do in the film, it also says sets the scene for each act. A script is vital to pre-production as it immediately gives the actors acknowledgment of what they're going to say and when they need to say it.
